Young Scientist Challenge - Discovery Education/3M

Just sharing the following information...
On May 09, 2008 the National Governor's Association joined Discovery Education/3M to continue support for the challenging and cutting edge "Young Scientist Challenge". Many of you may be aware of this unique opportunity geared both for school teachers and students (5th to 8th Grade). We want to highlight Governor Rendell's support for this program and overall championing of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education in Pennsylvania.
Student submissions require a one to two minute video about a specific science topic. Teachers will need to submit a video demonstrating their method for introducing a specific scientific concept in the classroom. Complete details about contest rules and entry requirements can be found at the website http://youngscientist.discoveryeducation.com. The deadline for entries is June 15, 2008.
